About the Artist



I am a local artist residing in Monroe, Louisiana, Navy veteran, retired Monroe Fire Captain, and cancer survivor.


While recovering from health issues, I was looking for something to keep me active, with no previous experience, I started oil painting in 2024. I taught myself the basics using social media like YouTube to learn techniques, Color Theory, basically anything I could get my hands on. I am still learning something new every day. 


I now have a newfound passion and am living proof that no matter your age, it is never too late to learn and love. I sincerely hope you enjoy my works of art as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
